PEACE Committee Meeting

Dear Walden Community,
Re-introducing the PEACE Committee! Several years ago, this committee was a reconstruction of what was formerly known as the “Diversity Committee,” but went dormant due to the pandemic. The acronym (a work in progress) highlights the intentions of this community based committee:
Peace
Equity
Activism
Conversation
Education for: justice, liberation, agency, anti-bias . . .
Andrew Patel @andrew-patel and Jeff Grether @jeff-grether are hoping you will consider joining this committee to begin planning community and school events aligned with PEACE. Our first meeting will center on clarifying the purpose of the committee, and creating goals together.
First Meeting: February 1, 6:15-7:15 pm (Upper Group classroom)
Please email or speak with Jeff or Andrew to participate in building PEACE!
And, if you are interested, but are not available on Feb 1st, please let us know. Depending upon how many folks are interested, we may have some flexibility with the meeting date.
