Spring Fair, insider’s guide…a note from Claudine:
Get Ready! For a lot of FUN, and a lot of WORK, but it’s fun work! Yes, MORE work. I’ll make a list. R indicates required, O indicates optional.
- R EACH parent gives two hours towards the success of the fair. (There is a lot to do on the day of the fair. There are excel sheets to fill out.) We especially need people for: the shifts at the Kids Games (need two people per shift), shifts at the Prize table for the Kids Games.
- R If your people/children want to participate in the CAKE WALK, at 2:00 pm on 5/18/2024 you need to bring a cake.
- R Contribute something new and fabulous to the class basket. Each class will have a theme.
- R Lunch room buffet, bring a casserole or a “covered dish” that serves 8.
- O Donate a NWT or NWOT desirous item for the RAFFLE.
- O Bake something for the café room.
- O Donate smallish used toys for the Prizes for the Kids Games.
I hope this list is helpful. If I have forgotten something, YOU KNOW I will let you know.
Peace,
Claudine
WORK COMMITMENT – 2 HOURS: Contractually, there is a 2-hour requirement for each parent to contribute to the success of the Spring Fair. There are many stations and activities at the fair that will need volunteers (2-hour shifts) that will help you fulfill your commitment. Please look for COMMITTEE SIGN UP SHEETS in the coming weeks to sign up for the committee that interests you.
